Huey Lewis, you were right...

I think it was Huey Lewis that said "the more things change, the more they stay the same"...

How quickly we adapt.

so this finger that I broke, for the first week, I really thought I was going to go crazy. It being my pointer finger and on my left hand (and I am a lefty!). It was DRIVING ME CRAZY.
But it's funny how we creatures quickly adapt.
I'm now using this brace like a finger. Things are getting easier to do (like typing) and other things, like doing my hair, loading the dishwasher, taking a shower (of course with a little plastic baggy securely around my finger). I'm getting used to my "new normal". Like anything in life, I guess. This is just more pronounced, and tangible, being on my finger. Things in life are always changing and we are constantly adapting.
and I'm grateful.
Besides, how boring would life be, right?

Sunday Five...

1. change.
2. being able to adapt to change.
3. conference weekend.
4. the power of healing. The body's natural ability to heal itself. It truly is amazing!
5. President Monson.

Is this where survival of the fittest comes in to play?
You are so right. Change is eminent. It's being able to adapt to that change that makes us succeed.
What's your typing speed now, with your brace, did it drop to oh, say 98 wrds per minute? You have always been the fastest.

Now when you get that brace off what ever are you going to do? Yes, I also am questioning your typing speed.
