reeeeaaallly?!

it's his catching arm. daaaaaang.
another buckle fracture.
that's three casts in the past, oh I don't know, six months?
and did I happen to mention that we now have THREE kids in BRACES!?
welp, I digress.
He is ok.
It happened Tuesday, and this trooper tried to play ball tonight,
(but sshhhh-we can't tell the doctor that!)
I guarantee, just like Landon,
he'll figure out how to pitch
and catch
with a cast.
that's just how 'those smith boys' roll.

I'm a Mormon!

Have you been to mormon.org?  You should.  It's cool.
I was asked to write and share this in Relief Society today and I wanted to share it with you:

About Me
I have many roles.  I love to read and write.  I am shy.  I love to laugh and people who make me laugh.  I am left-handed, type 90+ words per minute and I consider Target the mother ship.  But deep down...I am a daughter.  A daughter of God.

Why I am a Mormon
I was raised in the LDS church.  I was sealed to my family when I was 2.  I found the Light of Christ for myself when I was in High School.  I held onto that Light and told myself I would never, ever let go.  I have been blessed far beyond what I am deserving of.

How I live my Faith
I've made many mistakes.  I try every day to be kind to everyone I meet.  I try to teach my kids to love Jesus.  Because I do.

My name is Shelby
and I'm a Mormon.
