If at birth you could select the profession your child would eventually pursue, would you do so?

This one is difficult for me...I am inclined to say "no". There are just too many factors involved. What if you choose Doctor but they are absolutely sickened by the sight of blood. Or say engineer but they have such a natural talent for all things musical. Or Mathmatician and they suck at math. And then there is the whole "life purpose" to throw into the considerations and there's no way to know any of that at birth. Raw talent and abilities and natural interests wouldn't be known until they were older.

um, as much as I'd like to say YES, I would probably agree it is better for them to find their own way.
Chad's parents tried to "guide" him into the PGA and he was so unsatisfied with golf (Much to EVERYONES astonishment). We learn so much about ourselves and hopefully we find something that makes us happy and we build our careers around it.

no, I wouldn't. I couldn't guarantee that they would be happy doing it.

Part of the fun is choosing your own path.
It's empowering, and exciting.
