3. The lazy river.
4. Jaxon started his conditioning tonight and he did great!
5. Good sportsmanship. That's a whole 'nother post. I'll save it for tomorrow...

Fighting not to Fall...
I would hate to fall to my death.
That would be a horrific way to die. (hello, stating the obvious, sorry)
You've heard the stories of bungy cords snapping,
or that terrible movie "Cliffhanger" with Sly Styllone,
where she actually falls!
to her death.
so for fun,
today I rode the Sky Coaster.
It's a free fall
from like a thousand feet, or something.
They hoist you up, horizontal. (without warning, BTW)
I was the lucky one who got to pull the rip cord
or what I like to call "the death cord".
When they say "3, 2, 1, FLY", on fly, you pull the cord.
I pulled it.
As your body begins to fall,
your first instinct is
fighting the fall.
But your helpless.
It's going to happen.
I fell.
It's an overwhelming, powerless feeling and a HUGE rush of adrenaline.
It's awesome!
Despite the visions I had (while being hoisted up) of an ambulance, stretcher and waking up in a hospital bed,
I made it.
The worst part: s l o w l y rising up...up....up.
The best part: falling.
Sometimes when we let go of the fight and give in
it pays off in the end.

you know what this post is about...
Lincoln's team has won all four of their games!
This means they will compete in the tournament tonight!
Possibly a double header, if they win!
We are so proud of their team.
Landon's team lost their final game, darn it!
Landon played awesome and has had a great time!
They are not finished, they compete in another tournament next week.
Also, teams B (Landon) and C (Lincoln) will play each other!!!!!!
For the record,
I absolutely LOVE baseball!
I love the game
I love the hotdogs
especially, I love watching my boys play!
It is a great way to spend our summer.
1. The Sandlot. One of our family's favorite movies.
2. Black under the eyes.
3. The crack of the bat.
4. Sunflower seeds.
5. 7 and 9 year olds running the bases.
