HALLOWEEN PARTY!!!
We went to a really fun halloween party Friday night!
I decided I wanted us to go as my favorite movie couple:
'The Notebook'.
We had so much fun!
My mom did my hair in pin curls,
and I got most of the stuff from friends and the DI.
Thank you to all!

In other news:
What a great weekend!
aunt Natty was in town,
so it was a sister's (and mom, of course) weekend!
Also, we got our family pictures taken!
I'm so excited to send out Christmas cards this year!

A couple of days ago Jensyn came through the door after school and erupted into tears.
crockodile tears.
She told me a girl stole her best friend away.
Now she would have no one to sit by at lunch.
and then she wailed:
"MY LIFE IS CHAAANGING!!!"
{this is where I bit my knuckles trying not to laugh. or cry.}

I wrapped my arms around her and told her
I had a secret about friends:
{be nice}
If you are always nice- you will always have friends.
I reassured her that things would be different tomorrow.

The next day she bounced through the door.
All smiles.
I asked her if she had a better day and who did she sit by at lunch?
(big grin)
"My best friend.
You were right, mom."

(all I could think was this is just. the. beginning.
girl drama.)

My cute neighbor gave me this dresser.
The boys were in dire need.
I asked them to choose a color and I would paint it.
You know what it's like for me to watch someone type?!
Well, it's the same for Shawn, watching me paint!
So, he ended up doing all the painting!

1. Canning tomatoes with mom and sis. Thanks for teaching me mom!
2. "My sister's keeper" the movie. So good, but sad. I also really liked the book, even better.
3. It's almost our anniversary! I'm looking forward to our weekend getaway!
4. A routine.
5. 4 games every Saturday. I know. It's a lot, but so fun.
6. I feel Fall coming!
